Information we collect

Purpose and legal basis

We use inquiry data to respond to your request and, where you ask us to, to prepare a scoping discussion or engagement letter. Newsletter emails are sent only with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Retention

Inquiry correspondence is retained for up to twenty-four months if no engagement follows, then deleted or anonymised. Client engagement files follow retention periods required by Japanese professional and tax rules, typically seven years or longer where mandated.

Your rights

Subject to Japanese law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal data we hold about you, and you may object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@connectivityandsecurity.digital. You may also lodge a complaint with the Personal Information Protection Commission of Japan.

International transfers

Our primary processing occurs in Japan. If a service provider stores data outside Japan, we require contractual safeguards consistent with applicable Japanese requirements before transfer.
